Each year since the Texas Sesquicentennial, The Alamo Society has held a symposium coinciding with the anniversary of the Battle of the Alamo. Authors, scholars, educators, artists and musicians from around the world have convened at the annual symposiums to discuss, analyze, interpret and commemorate “all things Alamo,” from the Alamo of history to the Alamo of popular culture.
